Jay Balmer & Ben Jones (Promoters & Resident DJs)

Jay & Ben have known each other for 24 years and been a DJ duo for 10 years. In 2004 they started Fragile together at Chloe's, St Helens. Althought Jay & Ben regularly play individually it is their legendary back to back sets that resulted in them gaining a bi-monthly residency at the famous Manchester club Sankeys, and being invited to DJ at the Toolroom Knights album launch party at Ministry Of Sound in London!

Between them they have appeared in numerous venues across the North West including Sankeys (Manchester), Sextoy @ Club North (Manchester), Nation (home of Cream, Liverpool), Bedlam @ Garlands, GBar (Liverpool), The Venue (Isle of Man), Naked @ Pad (Staley Bridge), Pure (Manchester), Arrogance @ Revolution (Liverpool), Jealous @ Playa$ Lounge (New Brighton), House Proud @ The Cotton Club (Liverpool), The Boutique (Liverpool), Ministry of Sound's Housexy, and Gatecrasher Classics.

Jay and Ben have DJ'd at events alongside many international DJs including D Ramirez, Mark Knight, Sebasien Leger, Brandon Block, Judge Jules, Tom Novy, Wally Lopez, Funkagenda, Tall Paul, Paul Harris, and Richard Dinsdale.

Jay & Ben continue to push Fragile forwards and look for new oppertunities to take Fragile events to new areas while making numerous other appearances at other nights.

Dave Booth (Resident DJ)

Having played venues across the world from Ibiza, Magaluff and around the UK Dave Booth has made a fantastic name for himself! From his days in the legendery Hacienda to being resident DJ in the famous Garlands nightclub Dave Booth has become a big name in club world! After being invited to DJ as the guest DJ at the opening night of Fragile Dave jumped at the chance to become a Fragile resident! Dave now admits that Fragile is one of the gigs he looks forwards to the most each month!

Craig 'Bungle' Mars (Promotions Assistant)  

From Hip-Hop to House Craig knows it all! At the age of 16 Craig got his first set of decks and from then on he decided to be different. Using his knowledge of Soul, Reggae, Rare Groove & Hip-Hop he started to create his own style of djing. Along the way adopting the sounds of House, Garage and Trance he started DJing at house parties and local pubs, his talent was soon noticed by Jay Balmer, who helped him create the Warm-up Session @ Bar X. Moving to Leicester in 2003, Craig attended college, and is now qualified as a Sound Engineer & Music Producer. After a long 2 years away from family and friends Craig quickly got back on the scene in the north west, playing at events such as Da Rhumba @ Garlands (Liverpool) , Sex Toy @ North (Manchester), Jaxx Club Culture (Liverpool), Bar X (St Helens) and Foreplay @ Simple (Manchester) and is now resident at Fluid, St Helens. As promotions assistant for Fragile Craig helps put Fragile together and makes sure everybody knows about the next event!

Emma Bassnett (Entertainment Manager & Photographer)

Emma is an invaluable member of the Fragile team! Regularly seen with a camera in her hand at Fragile events, she is responsible for most of the photographs in our galleries. Emma is always on hand for the decoration of venues for Fragile events and organises the Fragile entertainers such as drag queens, dancers and fire breathers!

Lilette Rouge (A.K.A. Lil - Resident Drag Queen)

lilette rouge aka lil is the resident drag queen for fragile and is always at hand to ensure the clubbers have a night they wont forget, you will find her in an outrageous get up either on the door greeting punters, entertaining the guests queing up or on the dance floor getting her groove on or posing for photos
